Would you buy something recommended by a robot? We're not talking about a tool that analyzes your recent purchases and suggests new ones based on data (algorithms already do that quite well), but rather a literal influencer generated by AI. Apparently, yes. We had the case of the first AI-generated influencer in 2023 by a European agency and, now, social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram are making their first moves in this direction. Is there a limit to where Artificial Intelligence can go? Well, if there is, it's certainly not on social media platforms. Recent rumors suggest that AI is being used on both TikTok and Instagram, not only with new tools (which were more than expected) but also to provide content created entirely by AI influencers. According to TikTok, a new feature is being developed to generate a script for a video ad based on a prompt submitted by the advertiser, as well as an AI-generated influencer to appear in the video.
