Having a goal launch date keeps everyone motivated and on the same page. If the customer doesn’t have a compelling event, let’s create a deadline with them. From here, it’s all about documenting all the steps necessary to hit that deadline and then being transparent any time these deadlines are missed. We should also always get buy-in from the customer and their agreement that the date we set is realistic.
