Have you ever thought about how a small event can completely change the future of a story?

Meet the Butterfly effect

The flap of a butterfly’s wings might indirectly cause a tornado, which represents how small change can have large impact

Cases you might know about it (or not)

Steve Jobs ﹥
Steve Jobs decided to study calligraphy out of curiosity. 10 years later, when he was designing the Macintosh, that knowledge was decisive for the future of computers and the success of Apple.

We are all Rockers ﹥
Diego decided to press send in 2010 to an online message to Ed after they connected in a blog. 10 years later, we are working together and connected globally, being able to work on social impact programs to give back to society.
Caio Ferreira ﹥
Caio applied in his first year of high school to be the president of Junior Enterprise. There, he understood that he was capable of facing new challenges, and that opened space for several opportunities, until he succeeded in starting our volunteer program and ending up building his career at Rock.
We are all connected, and now more than ever, this is clearer to all of us. Have you ever thought in your life how a small action can create a big impact in the world?
One thing we know: we can improve the state of the world from our homes!

rock.org

We have a commitment.

1% of our working hours from our employees is donated for our civic-engagement duties, so we can contribute to society and improve the state of the world.

Rock.org was born to share the potential we have inside Rock Content to accelerate social change in our community.

Our mission is to promote high scale employability for minoritized groups.

This time, we will be able to put our energy into that differently, and we are very excited to share with you what we are planning to do.

A big team is behind all we are building and the challenge is huge: doing it globally and virtually for the first time.

Those numbers made us reflect on what we can do to improve it. Many of us are part of some of those minoritized groups, and we can feel that in our own skins.

We also know that many nonprofits out there already work in the front line of those social issues, and they need a lot of support to keep doing their job.

Now take a look inside. Can you imagine the force we might have if 450 rockers worldwide could work together to improve the state of the world? This could be huge!

So here is our plan

We will partner with 4 nonprofit organizations all over the world that share this same objective, so we can scale the impact.

We will be divided into 4 communities that each represent those minoritized group.

In Mexico, feminist movement continues to grow stronger than ever to stop the rise of femicides, and we will support a nonprofit there that deals with gender issues.

As we saw the alarming Brazilian numbers for the LGBT+ community, we chose to support a nonprofit from Brazil to have a direct impact on employability for the Trans community.

In Canada, let's keep supporting the job of reskilling people with disabilities.

The racial struggle in the US is huge, and we want to support this movement there.

Your participation makes the difference!

Our ultimate goal is to fundraise to the chosen cause in a global and remote way with missions and gamification!
